Lady Emily Korir OAM’s journey began in the slums of Nakuru, Kenya — born to a teenage mother as a result of rape, raised in poverty, and chased out of her village. She migrated to Australia, building a new life across continents.
In 2012, she survived a massive stroke. Doctors said she would never walk, talk, read, or write again. Through faith, determination, and divine grace, she relearned everything — walking, speaking, reclaiming her leadership and voice.
